The Open Women on the punishing climb to the finish... there were four climbs like that on the course that was looped several times depending on Cat.I'm pretty sure on the far left (in the black and gold with the dark-silver helmet) is Andrea Ratkovic. She grew up in our home town and is a former duathlon national champion, and also world-class cyclist, runner and triathlete. Two from the right (in the white with red sleeves and silver helmet) is Shae Rainer, who is on the Trek Factory MTB team and is also the Dirty Duathlon champ. I think in there is also Jen McRae who is also a national and world champ in road and track cycling (and is the wife of Chann McRae, former US Pro National Champ). I'm sure there are more hot-shots in there... regardless, that's one tough field!!!

Shae is also the Xterra national and world champion and world solo mountain bike champion in her age group!
