This gives you an idea how tiny she is... considering that the girls around her are a year or less older than her! 

The course was much tougher than it looked on paper... with considerable elevation change... 

Cutting the high-speed corner nice and tight like a mountain biker should! 

Eyeing the finish line... a state championship jersey... and a $100 prize!

In that envelope is a $100 check for winning both the state time trial and state criterium championships! 

They were both triathlon national champions in the same year, and now they're both state criterium champions. Way to go girls!!!

One tired girl warming down after a hard TT... they call this stretch after the finish line the "puke zone", 'cause that's what you want to do when you cross the line ;-)

Gathering with some of her teammates (she had to wear her triathlon top and white jersey because USCF rules required your shoulders to be covered and because it was the only thing she had that was skin-tight and wouldn't flap in the wind... which kinda slows you down in a time trial ;-)

Add another gold medal and championship jersey to the collection... way to go!
