We met Pat Ferguson, lead-singer Fergie's dad (and some very nice friends of theirs from San Antonio and San Diego), and went with him backstage and spent over an hour with Fergie in her dressing room after the concert was over. The kids were pinching themselves! She was as sweet and unpretentious as could be, and even more attractive in real-life. She chatted with the kids and signed their t-shirts (afterwards I was instructed by them to "never, ever wash them" ) and even offered up food and beverages for everyone. The kids thought it was so cool that they got to stay with her while other "VIP's" were briefly ushered in and then out. They could not wait to go to school the next day with their story and wearing their autographed t-shirts!
