Since it started to get down into the forties and drizzle, the tables which are usually set up outside were set up inside.

The cold weather made playing around the fire pit even more fun, and on Friday we made one more trip to our favorite BBQ place!

Better late than never!

Kees' birthday was amost a month ago, but with soccer over and the week off for Thanksgiving he finally had his party last night... burgers, Mr. Magorian's Magic Emporium and a sleep over... MAN those boys were loud!

One win, one loss... and mad juggling skilz

Kiersten's team won 8-0 with Kiersten scoring the second goal, while Kees' team was lackluster in their 3-4 loss with Kees having an outstanding game and scoring two goals. Both teams end up in second place in their respective divisions.

The Wife of Bath

Kiersten put in an excellent performance as the Crone in A Canterbury Tale from the Wife of Bath for her Advanced Theater Arts class.

For grins Kees signed up for fencing classes with some of his buddies... turns out he loves it!Kiersten and I snuck some pictures of him from outside... looks like he's got some pretty good moves... touche!

Victory

The boys won again on Saturday... but it was ugly... it ended up 2-1 but should have easily been 7-1... too many little mistakes!

Here's Kees dribbling in to the goal with four defenders around him and right after this shot the big kid behind him just pushed him down from behind... unfortuanately Kees' PK went just over the goal.

One more game to go in the regular season.

Kees and the Mariachis

Lately on Friday nights we go to our favorite Mexican food restaurant for Mariachi night.

Kees entertains us with his jokes and the mariachis entertain us with their music.

Here's a pretty cool sequence of pictures from the beginning to the end of a goal run.

Kiersten is playing right forward, positioning herself midfield with her teammate Kanya while the other team has the ball. Our midfielders get the ball out and Kiersten makes a run for the ball.

She outsprints the opposing midfielders and takes control of the ball... turning it around and heading for the goal. She was challenged by a quick midfielder who she dropped with a quick move inside.

Breaking loose from the midfielder she encounters another one who she outmaneuvers and turns on the afterburner and heads for the goal.
